___________________________________________ DISMISSED WITH PREJUDICE: July 6, 1994 ___________________________________________ GSBCA 12884-P COASTAL COMPUTER CONSULTANTS CORPORATION, Protester, v. DEFENSE MAPPING AGENCY, Respondent. Shelton H. Skolnick of Skolnick & Leishman, Derwood, MD, counsel for Protester. J. Timothy Thompson, Howard Phifer, and Daniel Rader, Office of Legal Services, Defense Mapping Agency, Bethesda, MD, counsel for Respondent. HYATT, Board Judge. ORDER On June 24, 1994, Coastal Computer Consultants Corporation protested the Defense Mapping Agency's denial of its agency protest objecting to the Government's "only new equipment" requirement for solicitation number DMA800-94-R-8073 as synopsized in the Commerce Business Daily. Protester contended that the requirement for a new high speed printer limited offerors to only a few manufacturers and was unduly restrictive of full and open competition. On June 30, 1994, the Board conducted a prehearing conference, in which the Government stated that it would remove the restrictive term providing for only new equipment. On July 1, 1994, protester filed a motion to dismiss this protest. Respondent has no objection to protester's request. Accordingly, this protest is DISMISSED WITH PREJUDICE.
