ORDER On November 12, 1993, Electronic Systems USA, Inc., protested the Department of Agriculture's award of a contract for a computerized system to monitor and control office and laboratory environmental conditions and life safety at the Beltsville (Maryland) Agricultural Research Center. The protest alleges that the agency acted improperly in determining that the system offered by Electronic Systems was technically unacceptable and that the system offered by the awardee did meet all specifications. On December 7, protester informed the Board that it has "decided to drop the above-referenced case."
