_______________________________________________ DISMISSED WITH PREJUDICE: February 3, 1993 _______________________________________________ GSBCA 12268-P UNIVERSITY SYSTEMS, INC., Protester, v. DEPARTMENT OF THE AIR FORCE, Respondent. INTERNATIONAL DATA PRODUCTS, CORPORATION, Intervenor. Keith W. Griffen, Vice President of University Systems, Inc., Wilsonville, OR, and Satish Attawar, Senior Vice President of University Systems, Inc., Milpitas, CA, appearing for Protester. Clarence D. Long, III, Office of the General Counsel, Department of the Air Force, The Pentagon, Washington, DC, counsel for Respondent. D. Oscar Fuster, Vice President of International Data Products, Corporation, Gaithersburg, MD, appearing for Intervenor. VERGILIO, Board Judge. ORDER On January 21, 1993, University Systems, Inc. filed with the Board a protest (which it amended on January 22) involving a solicitation issued by the respondent, the Department of the Air Force. Protester alleges that the specifications contain ambiguities and inconsistencies. On January 28, 1993, protester filed a motion for dismissal with prejudice. The agency does not object. International Data Products, Corporation (IDP) filed a notice of intervention, which is inadequate--it fails to state intervenor's "position regarding the protest"--Rule 5(a)(3)(i). That matter need not be pursued because IDP does not object to the requested dismissal. Accordingly, the protest is DISMISSED WITH PREJUDICE. Rule 28(a). __________________________ JOSEPH A.
