                                 ORDER
 
        This protest was filed with the Board on October 1, 1992, by
   VMX, Inc. (VMX).  VMX protests its exclusion from the competitive
   range of a procurement conducted by the Internal  Revenue Service
   for the acquisition a voice message system.  
 
        On October 6, the Board convened a prehearing conference for
   this  protest and authorized certain pretrial discovery.  Shortly
   thereafter, on  October 13, the  parties filed a joint  motion to
   dismiss this case with prejudice.  
 
        Accordingly,  pursuant  to  Rule   28(a),  this  protest  is
   dismissed with prejudice.
