                                 ORDER
 
        On July 19,  1996, the Board received this  appeal, filed by
   Ruchman  and Associates,  Inc., contesting  the  decision of  the
   contracting  officer to  deny  or  not pay  to  Ruchman money  it
   claimed was owing under contracts and purchase orders.
 
        By  letter dated  August  1,  Ruchman  represents  that  the
   contracting  officer has  agreed to  rescind  and reconsider  the
   decision  forming the  basis of  the  appeal.   Ruchman seeks  to
   withdraw without prejudice the appeal.
 
        Accordingly,  the  appeal  is DISMISSED  WITHOUT  PREJUDICE.
