Background On January 24, 1992, appellant, Professional Business Services, appealed from the contracting officer's default termination of Contract GS-07P-90-HTC-0106. That contract was for maintenance services at the United States Courthouse, Corpus Christi, Texas. On May 6, 1992, the Board issued a pre-hearing schedule. On January 29, the Board urged the parties to complete on-going settlement negotiations. On March 11, 1993, the parties submitted a settlement stipulation and requested the Board to adopt the settlement by decision. Rule 36(e). Upon execution of the stipulation, the Government changed the default termination to a termination for the convenience of the Government. The Government further agreed to pay appellant $4,750 inclusive of interest through April 2, 1993, with interest thereafter to run at the statutory rate until paid. Decision Pursuant to Rule 36(e), the Board adopts the parties' stipulation by decision. The appeal is GRANTED. The Government has converted its default termination to a termination for convenience of the Government.
