                                 ORDER
 
 
        On December 18, 1991, Atlas Elevator Co., Inc., appealed the
   decision  of  a  contracting  officer  denying  payment  for  the
   replacement of a  selector cable.  On January  5, 1993, appellant
   filed a motion stating that it did  not wish to continue with its
   appeal and requesting  that the Board "close" the  case.  Counsel
   for respondent has no objection.
 
        Accordingly,  this appeal  is  DISMISSED WITHOUT  PREJUDICE.
   Rule  28(a)(1).    This  dismissal  shall  convert  to  one  with
   prejudice thirty  days from  the date of  this order,  unless any
   party requests reinstatement prior to that date.
